To all our friends and neighbours
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."At the same time we know that the events unfolding around us are upsetting and as a church we are praying for our community. Perhaps you would like to speak to us, have questions or you need help in some way because you are self-isolating. Read on for more about that.
Romans 8 v 28
What ChangesIn the light of the governments advice, particuarly around distancing, we have suspended our normal routine of weekly meetings held at Lancaster Hall. This includes:
- Sunday Gospel Meetings & Family Services
- Jolly Tots
- Bible Teaching Meetings
What Stays the SameWe remain interested in helping those in our community wherever it is reasonable to do so. Especially if you are self-isolating and need errands ran for food or supplies, we want to help. Love is contagious too. Call us on 07593 579258 and talk to us. We will of course only do this having taken sensible precautions ourselves.
In addition, we are prayerfully planning how we can continue to reach out into the community to continue telling people about the message of the bible and sharing God's Good News. Where appropriate we will share more on our website.
We hope that many will come to know God through these strange and difficult circumstances.
"For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly."
Romans 5 v6
